Free medical clinic at North Cleveland Church of God
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Remote Area Medical (RAM) offered a free 2-day clinic to the public in Cleveland.
This traveling program offers free services without proof of insurance.
Patients can receive dental, vision, and medical care on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Some patients were waiting outside the clinic since Thursday afternoon in advance.
RAM travels across the country from Alaska to Florida.
So far they have around 80 stops they are making across the U-S.
Clinic Coordinator, Brad Sands said, “It is all free. No insurance. No ID required. You can come in and tell me your name is ‘Elmer Fud’ and I’m going to say, “Thank you for coming Mr. or Ms. Fud, let’s get you some free services.”
Doors opened at 6:00 Friday morning.
Local hygienists attended the event and provided services throughout Friday and Saturday.
