Free pop-up health clinic coming to East Ridge
EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) — Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corps (RAM) is holding a free pop-up health clinic in East Ridge this weekend.
The clinic will be on September 9 and 10. It will be open all day, but organizers say doors will likely open at 6 a.m. RAM will hold the East Ridge clinic at the Camp Jordan Arena.
Physicians will offer free dental, vision and medical services. It will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
They will offer medical services to every patient. However, patients will need to choose between either dental or vision. They may not receive both due to time constraints.
The clinic will only offer eye exams on Saturday, September 9. On Sunday, only those with a valid prescription from the past year will be able to get glasses.
Organizers say they do not require an identification for services.
They also encourage everyone who plans on attending to arrive as early as possible. The parking lot for the clinic will be open by 11:59 p.m. on Friday.
RAM says their closing time will be based on their daily capacity.
