From The Archives: 1991 rating the Mall Santas

We compare the Santas at Eastgate, Northgate and Hamilton Place

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The problem with more online Christmas shopping is where will people go to sit on Santa’s lap?

For generations, parents took their kids to visit Santa while they went shopping.

It started with Department Store Santas in the 50s and 60s.

In December of 1991, our Ted Perry decides he would rate the mall santas for parents.

This is the story he filed.
