Fugitive captured in Collegedale

COLLEGEDALE, Tennessee (WDEF) – A host of local law enforcement arrested a fugitive early this morning in Collegedale.

They’ve been looking for Terry McDaniel for several weeks for outstanding warrants.

The crimes were scattered across Collegedale, Hamilton County, Meigs County, Walker County, Bradley County, and Catoosa County.

Officers considered him a high risk suspect who had made several threats to harm himself.

He was spotted by a Collegedale officer around 9 AM speeding on a motorcycle.

The officer chased him, just as the HCSO FAST Team was in the area looking for him.

But McDaniel’s motorcycle started having problems, so he ditched it and fled on foot.

A Hamilton County K-9 caught him on foot.

Collegedale is adding to the long list of criminal charges against McDaniel:

50 mph in a 35 mph Zone

Felony Evading Arrest

Stop-Halt-Frist

Driving while Revoked
