Gas Prices Break $2 Barrier Here
Cleveland, TN (WDEF) Gas prices continue their late summer dip, breaking the $2 mark in our area for the first time this year.
GasBuddy.com reports the cheapest gas in our area today is in Cleveland.
We snapped a picture of the $1.99 price at the Shell at the Paul Huff Parkway exit off I 75.

Retail prices have been dropping all summer along with the price of oil.
The experts first predicted we’d break the $2 barrier by Christmas, then the fall.
But prices continue to drop faster than expected.
They don’t expect the price to go up again until next year.
Other prices around the area today vary from $2.03-$2.08.
