ATHENS, Ga. (AP) – Georgia will host Alabama on Oct. 3 next season and open Southeastern Conference play against Vanderbilt.
The SEC released each school’s 2015 schedule Tuesday.
Georgia will open at home against Louisiana-Monroe Sept. 5, followed by a road game vs. the Commodores. The Bulldogs have traditionally faced South Carolina in their SEC opener, but next year’s game at Sanford Stadium was bumped back to Sept. 19.
After a Sept. 26 game against FCS school Southern, Georgia will meet the Crimson Tide for the first regular season game since 2012.
The remaining SEC games are: Oct. 10, at Tennessee; Oct. 17, vs. Missouri; Oct. 31, vs. Florida in Jacksonville; Nov. 7, vs. Kentucky; and Nov. 14, at Auburn.
Georgia closes the season against Georgia Southern (Nov. 21) and Georgia Tech (Nov. 28).
