Georgia man arrested on drug charges in Dunlap
DUNLAP, Tenn. — A man from Georgia has been arrested in Dunlap on drug charges.
The Dunlap Police Department (DPD) says in the early morning hours of April 20, 2026, they responded to a residence on Old Union Road regarding unwanted intoxicated persons.
Once officers arrived, they made contact with three individuals inside a vehicle parked in the driveway.
During the investigation, officers found approximately 1.52 ounces of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle, the DPD says.
Ronald Diorio was arrested on drug charges at the scene.
They say following a search warrant on Diorio’s vehicle, police discovered an additional 2.02 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, and plastic bags.
A total of 3.52 ounces of methamphetamine was seized from this arrest.
