Georgia Touches Down in Los Angeles Determined to Bring Home Another National Title
Los Angeles, CA-(WDEF-TV) Georgia has touched down in Los Angeles, site of this year’s national title game.
And there to greet’em was News 12’s Brian Armstrong.
Brian: The defending national champions, the Georgia Bulldogs have touchdown in LAX California and they’re in Southern California they be playing at Sofi Stadium on Monday night. News 12 has been able to document them coming in. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart was able to get off the plane stretch his legs enjoy the moment go OK this is what we were meant for. We were meant to get here. They made it as if it was a business trip. The players got off there wasn’t the pump up Jerry music there wasn’t high-fives as we saw the TCU. There is just pure determination as they walked out of the plane to the Georgia bus. As you saw players like Ladd McConkey and Stetson Bennett just taking this moment truly seriously.
The players may have made a straight line but smart to take a moment to talk with Media and gave us first thoughts of after landing in LA.
Said Smart: “We still have a couple days get prepared will go through our whole process. A preparing for a game which we’ve done 14 times now. It’s not different in terms of what we do. It’s where we do it. It’s about the players that put us in this position it’s really not about me. It doesn’t come without a lot of hard work and our guys have met that hard work hard on. One of the hardest things to do in all sports is finish and we got an opportunity to finish a good season on Monday night against a great opponent to go through to get there.
Brian: all that coming off of a narrow victory over Ohio State in the peach bowl with Georgia secondary looked a little suspicious. Will get into that and a whole lot more over the weekend and of course on Monday with a national title as we are here out in LA.
