Big Brothers Big Sisters

The challenges that many young people face every day are expanding, and their worlds are becoming more complex. Children are struggling to find a positive, sustained mentor to support them. 1 out of every 3 children in America is growing up without a mentor.

We were all young once, so we know what it felt like to have someone on our side, someone who listened, and someone who cared. Don’t we all deserve that? Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga is empowering young people through mentorship, especially those who need it most. 92% of youth in BBBS programs feel a greater sense of belonging and connection to a caring adult, and our mentoring and emotional support consistently reduces depressive symptoms and anxiety.

Will you join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Chattanooga in building a stronger and more equitable community? Bigger, brighter futures begin with you. Donate today to reach more young people.

The 24 7 Movement

The 24/7 Movement is dedicated to inspiring, motivating, and helping others make safe driving decisions. Through real solutions, awareness, education, advocacy, and partnerships, The 24/7 Movement provides support for victims of impaired driving, and teaches drivers how to make safe decisions. The 24/7 Movement believes that together, we can end needless deaths and injuries due to alcohol, drugs, and distracted driving.

The 24/7 Movement was started by the Dillard family and friends to honor Dustin and Brittany Dillard’s memory. On Christmas Day in the year 2022, the Dillards were traveling to a family Christmas Dinner when the SUV they were driving was struck head-on by a drunk driver. The crash killed Dustin and Brittany instantly, and critically injured their 3 young boys. In Dustin and Brittany’s name, The 24/7 Movement leads the community to make safe, responsible driving decisions that will save lives.
