Golden Apple Award: Adam Crowley, Lafayette Middle School
LAFAYETTE, Ga. (WDEF) – This week, we honor the vice principal at Lafayette Middle School. Adam Crowley has been teaching and coaching for 15 years.
His coworkers say he treats every child with respect and dignity and has a passion for teaching. See why he is the winner of this week’s Golden Apple Award.
Mr. Crowley not only spends the day helping middle schoolers, but he also coaches his daughter’s volleyball team.
His daughter, Deedy Crowley said, “He’s a good dad to me and my other siblings.”
Jamie Debity says, “He makes those connections with kids and our faculty. He’s one of those that goes above and beyond, and he’s a good guy, and he’s good faith based. And he’s a good person overall and, with that, he wants the best for everybody in this building.”
Adam Crowley said, “I’m a father of three kids, a husband of lovely wife and an admin at one of the best schools in Walker County in my role now it’s different than helping with the kids in the classroom now I get to help out more kids and I feel like each one of them is my own and I want to treat them like my own. And I enjoy getting to make those connections with those students.”
Adam’s wife, Lisa Crowley said, “I am just so very proud. He is so giving and selfless… He doesn’t just stop caring about these students when his day is over with, he thinks about them constantly and he loves the school. He loves his coworkers, so I’m just very proud of him.”
