Golden Apple: David Vanzant

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – David Vanzant is a science teacher at the STEM School in Chattanooga.

But his students say he’s much more than that.

They say he gives college advice, and helps them apply for jobs.

But he’s also there when kids just need to talk.

That’s why Vanzant is this week’s Golden Apple Award winner.
