Governor Lee to Not Intervene on Harold Nichols Execution
TENNESSEE — Governor Bill Lee has said he will not be intervening on death row inmate Harold Wayne Nichols’ request for clemency.
“After deliberate consideration of Harold Wayne Nichols’ request for clemency, and after a thorough review of the case, I am upholding the sentence of the State of Tennessee and do not plan to intervene.”
– Governor Bill Lee said.
Nichols is set to be executed on December 11, 2025 in Nashville, Tennessee.
