GraduRUN 5K upcoming to support Catoosa County students
RINGGOLD, Ga. (WDEF) — Builtwell Bank is partnering with Catoosa County Schools to help children within the community. They are hosting their 25th anniversary GraduRUN 5K and One-Mile Fun Walk next Saturday.
The event will take place on March 18 starting at 8 a.m. It will be at the Builtwell Bank at 5102 Alabama Highway in Ringgold.
The 5K race will begin at 8 a.m. and the Fun Walk will begin at 8:05 a.m.
This event supports Communities in Schools (CIS). Builtwell Bank states that the CIS “works to help students achieve more in their school system by providing them with support to help them succeed inside and outside the classroom.”
Over the last 24 years, GraduRUN has raised over $106,000 for CIS.
Those who are interested in participating can register online now, or at any North Georgia bank location. The entry fee for early registration is $25. You can register early until March 13.
However, those who wish to register day-of may do so as well. The entry fee for on-site registration will be $30. Day-of registration will start at 6:30 a.m. on March 18.
Top finishers will receive cash prizes. There will be door prize giveaways as well.
“GraduRUN rallies our communities together for a morning of fun and exercise, while benefitting a great cause,” Builtwell Bank EVP Don Griffin said.
