Graffiti removal process
Citizens should report graffiti in their neighborhoods by calling 3-1-1 or email the address of the graffiti at 311@chattanooga.gov.
The report will be added to the queue. If it’s a public owned property, the City of Chattanooga Public Works will remove the graffiti. If it’s a privately owned property, the City will send a waiver to the owner of the building, authorizing the removal of the graffiti.
Once multiple waivers have been collected in a specific area, the Chattanooga Police Department will organize community volunteers, officers, and other city employees for a graffiti Clean-Up day.
Mayor Andy Berke, representatives from Chattanooga Police Department, including Chief Fred Fletcher, and community residents will be at Graffiti Removal Clean-Up day Saturday afternoon at 3:00.
Anyone can meet at Tower Construction (2520 E 14th St, Chattanooga, TN 37404), just off Main St. in Ridgedale to participate.
