Grand Jury declines to indict Evangelist Perry Stone

He faced accusations of sexual harassment from several women in his organization

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – A Bradley County grand jury has declined to file any charges against evangelist Perry Stone.

The founder of Perry Stone Ministries in Cleveland has faced accusations of sexual misconduct for several years.

At one point, his own Board for the Voice of Evangelism asked him to step down while they evaluated the complaints from several women who claimed he harrassed them.

They eventually cleared Stone and he resumed his post.

At the request of local district attorneys, the TBI investigated the accusations.

District Attorney General Steve Crump then presented their findings to the grand jury.
