Grand Jury indicts Blasingim on 2021 murder in Bradley County

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – A grand jury in Bradley County has indicted 43 year old Billy Blasingim for the death of a woman last year.

The body of 32 year old Carissa Diane Hamby was found on a farm near Charletston in August.

Blasingim was taken into custody on Friday.

He faces a charge of First Degree Murder.

Bradley County officials are not commenting further on the case while the investigation is continuing.
