Gratefull Dalton Brings Community Together

DALTON, GA. (WDEF) – The annual Gratefull Dalton celebration brought the community together today in downtown Dalton for a Thanksgiving meal focused on fellowship and generosity.

Organizers offered a free hot meal to anyone who attended, ensuring that every person, regardless of age, background, or circumstance, could sit down and enjoy a full Thanksgiving style plate.

Attendees also donated food to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, helping support families across the region.

Families enjoyed the new picnic blankets provided this year, giving kids room to play nearby while adults gathered at the long community table.

Guests welcomed an early visit from Santa, and many shared their gratitude on the Grateful Wall, creating a colorful display of what the community is thankful for.

Local organizations alongside the United Way of Northwest Georgia, helped make the event welcoming and meaningful for everyone who attended.

From shared meals to small moments of connection, Gratefull Dalton once again showcased the heart and spirit of the Dalton community.
