Grundy County man arrested after stealing ATV in Dunlap

DUNLAP, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A Grundy County man has been arrested after stealing a four wheeler in Dunlap.

On February 20, 2025 around 11:40 a.m., a subject stole a red Honda TRX four wheeler from a carport of a Dunlap residence.

Several businesses and residences in the area were able to capture the incident on surveillance video.

According to the Dunlap Police Department (DPD), they gathered enough evidence to deem Ronald Cody Fults as a person of interest.

DPD notified the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) of the incident.

The GCSO was able to locate the stolen four wheeler at a Grundy County residence.

The four wheeler had been spray painted in hopes of making the vehicle unrecognizable.

Officers were able to locate Fults at the same residence, and took him into custody.

Fults was transported back to Dunlap and is being held at the Sequatchie County jail, where he faces the following charges:

  • Theft Over $1000.00
  • Vandalism Over $1,000.00
