Gunshot victim arrives at local hospital

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening.

At 7:34 pm, CPD responded to a local hospital on reports of a person shot.

Police say the victim, Corderrius Bonner, arrived at the hospital with a single gunshot wound to his leg.

According to Chattanooga Police, the victim was walking along S. Kelly Street when he heard gunshots.

Police says they are still working to locate the crime scene.

No suspect information is known.

Chattanooga Police say the victim’s injuries are non-life threatening.
