H.C.S. official says Brainerd High School situation was “handled very quickly”
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Hamilton County School official is reacting to an incident that happened at Brainerd High School Wednesday.
School officials said an altercation occurred after family members of a student came to the school.
They said they got inside by saying they had come to sign a student out.
H.C.S. Opportunity Zone Chief Jill Levine said the situation was quickly handled by staff, Chattanooga Police and school resource officers.
“The administrative response and the response from faculty was immediate and the situation was handled very quickly and effectively and very few students actually came in contact with the situation,” Levine said.
Chattanooga Police said three juveniles and two adults were arrested after the alleged fight.
