Halloween Open House at Chattanooga Fire Stations
Trick or Treaters could stop by a Chattanooga Fire station from 6-8 Friday night for a safe Halloween destination.
The stations had open houses for the community.
Firefighters gave out candy and talked to the kids.
They say it’s a good way for them to be involved with the community and give back.
Firefighter Matthew Enyart says, "I think it’s really important. I know growing up as a kid, I always went trick or treating at the fire hall, and we like to present us as a safe place or the kids to come and trick or treat and have a warm environment."
Firefighters gave trick or treaters an up-close look at the inside of a fire station and the fire engines.
