Hamilton County DA Investigating Officer Involved Shooting in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County District Attorney’s Office is investigating an officer involved shooting that happened around 5 pm Monday in Chattanooga. A suspect was injured and being treated at a local hospital.

Deputy Chief David Roddy says that multiple officers were involved in the shooting and are on administrative paid leave pending the outcome of this investigation.

There were two active crime scenes with one off Rossville Boulevard and the other on South Seminole Drive. It is unclear at this time how the two are connected.
