Hamilton County man wanted for property damage in Cohutta
COHUTTA, Ga. (WDEF) — The Cohutta Police Department is searching for a Hamilton County man who they say caused property damage in a car crash.
Officers are searching for Austin C. Lansing.
They said the crash happened on December 3 in Cohutta.
Authorities added that Lansing fled the scene before police arrived. However, witnesses identified him after the investigation.
Cohutta police say Lansing is wanted for the following charges.
- Failure to stop at stop sign,
- Too fast for conditions,
- Leaving the scene of a crash resulting in property damage without reporting,
- Criminal damage/trespass upon private property.
Authorities have entered his warrants into the NCIC.
