Hamilton County remembers Deputy Donald Bond after 22 years
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — On September 6, Hamilton County remembers Deputy Donald Bond, who died in the line of duty 22 years ago.
Deputy Bond was an employee of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
He was shot and killed during an ambush in 2001.
Marlon Kiser was convicted of killing Deputy Bond in 2003. Kiser was on death row but died in prison in 2020 of natural causes.
The community now remembers Bond’s sacrifice and service to Hamilton County.
