Hamilton County woman indicted on TennCare fraud charges

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) –  A Hamilton County woman is facing two counts of TennCare fraud after investigators say she deceived a healthcare provider to obtain narcotics.

Genora Manning, 32, was indicted by a Hamilton County grand Jury.

According to court documents, Manning knowingly and unlawfully obtained a prescription for a controlled substance from a healthcare provider without disclosing that she had received a similar prescription from another healthcare provider within a 30-day time frame.

She is scheduled for an arraignment on December 4.
