Hamilton Heights Center Abdul Ado Signs With Mississippi State
Hamilton Heights Christian Academy center Abdul Ado has signed to play college hoops for Mississippi State.
The 6’11 Ado averaged 10-points, 12-boards, and seven blocks a game last season for the Hawks.
ESPN lists Ado as a four star prospect.
With his signing, ESPN says Mississippi State now has the sixth best signing class in the nation.
Here’s what Bulldogs head coach Ben Howland had to say about Ado from Mississippi State’s press release:
"We’re really excited about Abdul’s commitment,” Howland said. “He is an exciting talent and multi-faceted in terms of being able to play two different positions. He can play both center and power forward and defend both as well. He has great length and size. His body has the potential to get bigger and stronger. He’s a good passer, has shown he can shoot the ball from 15-17 feet and he’s got a really great toughness about him. Abdul is going to be great for us in the future.”
