Hamilton Heights Point Guard Shai Alexander Signs With John Calipari and Kentucky

Chattanooga-(WDEF) Hamilton Heights has had three basketball players sign college scholarships during the early signing period, led by 6’5 guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is going to Kentucky.
Wildcats coach John Calipari always brings in one of the nation’s top recruiting classes, and Alexander is ready for the challenge.
Said Alexander:”He said the University of Kentucky is not for everybody. Other schools will baby you and sell you this and sell you that, but when you go to Kentucky, you’ve got to work for what you get. Their program really has the history for what I want to achieve in life. I felt like it was the best situation for me to achieve my goals and continue my career.”
