Hanon Systems bringing 600 new jobs to Tennessee
LOUDON, Tenn. (WDEF) — Another manufacturing company is coming to the state of Tennessee, as officials announced on Tuesday.
Hanon Systems will be coming to Loudon, Tennessee, Governor Bill Lee and Commissioner Stuart McWhorter said.
According to a press release from state officials, Hanon Systems will invest close to $170 million in this new facility.
This will create 600 new jobs in the area.
The facility will be located in Huntingdon Park, according to the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD).
Hanon Systems is a global operation that supplies thermal solutions to automotive manufacturers. This includes heating ventilation, air conditioning, powertrain cooling, compressors, fluid transport, electronics and fluid pressure.
This location will supply North American automotive markets.
The company’s headquarters sits in South Korea but employs over 22,000 people in 21 countries.
“Loudon County is very excited about an international company of Hanon Systems’ caliber locating here. The number and the quality of jobs they are bringing will improve the job market landscape not just locally but regionally. They are bringing a nearly $170 million capital investment and a pay scale that will establish them quickly in the community,” said Loudon County Mayor Buddy Bradshaw. “I am very excited and anxious to see this partnership flourish and look forward to all that Hanon Systems will bring to the Loudon County community.”
