Harlem Sweeps Ringgold to Win 3A State Baseball Championship

Rome, GA-(WDEF-TV) Ringgold fell short in their quest for their first ever state baseball title on Friday. The Tigers lost 5-3 and 2-1 to Harlem in Rome, Georgia. In the first game, Aiden Hickman gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead in the 5th inning with a single through the infield. Ringgold carried that 3-2 lead to the top of the 7th, but the Bulldogs scored 3 runs in the inning to pull out the 5-3 victory.
