Harrah’s Sets Date For Murphy Casino Opening

Murphy, NC (WDEF) Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel will officially open on Monday, September 28th.

They will hold a grand opening ceremony at 11AM.

The casino is under construction off Highway 74 in Murphy, about a mile east of Walmart.

It will have 50,000 square feet of gaming space with over 1,000 slots and 70 traditional table games, food court and a 300-room, full service hotel.

They still are hiring casino positions at caesarsjobs.com.

The facility is a joint production of the Eastern Band of Cherokees and Caersar’s Entertainment.
