Harvest Deaf Ministries hosts car wash to support global mission trip
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — For more than three decades, Harvest Deaf Ministries has been committed to reaching the Deaf community with the message of Christ.
Established 31 years ago, the ministry describes itself as “a ministry established for the Deaf, but signed for everyone.” Their mission continues to grow—not just locally, but around the world.
This weekend, members of the ministry held a car wash to raise funds for their upcoming mission trip to India and Nepal.
The goal? To share the gospel and connect with Deaf communities overseas.
“We’re happy to be here at this car wash with our folks from Harvest Deaf Ministries,” one family member said through an interpreter. “We’ve been planning a missions trip to India and Nepal. It’s a wonderful trip we’ve got planned, and we’re trying to earn some money to help support it. We’re going to reach out to the Deaf communities there. There are many Deaf individuals in India and Nepal, and also many missionaries working there. We’re excited to be a part of it.”
Despite the summer heat, the team stayed energized and focused on their goal.
“We know it’s hot today, but we’re willing to work hard to get there. We’ve been enjoying ourselves—it’s amazing. Thank you, and God bless you.”
Their final car wash will be held next Saturday, June 28, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Advanced Auto Parts, in East Ridge.
4405 Ringgold Rd, East Ridge, TN 37412
Community members are encouraged to stop by, support the cause, and help send the team on their mission to reach more Deaf individuals around the world.
Harvest Deaf Ministries continues to be a beacon for the Deaf community, fueled by faith and a global vision of outreach.
