HCS hosts their 8th annual Back to School Bash this weekend

Kate Skonberg with HCS joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to preview their 8th annual Back to School Bash for students and families.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- The first day of school is just a week or two away and Hamilton County Schools is making sure our students are excited with their 8th annual Back to School Bash.

Families can visit the Tennessee Riverpark from 10 A.M. – 1 P.M. on Saturday, August 2. There will be tons of free school supplies including backpacks, folders, papers, pens/pencils.

There will be plenty of resources for families to take advantage of to ensure their child has the best school year possible.

The event is suitable for all grades K through 12. Though most resources will be geared toward the younger grades.

First day of school for Hamilton County students is on Wednesday, August 6.
