Police confirm 2 dead at home on East 37th Street
UPDATE:
The Chattanooga Police Department gave an update on the two men who died on East 37th Street.
Someone had called the police department stating they had not heard from one homeowner for several days. So, officers started investigating.
First responders noticed flies in the windows, which they say are indicators of deceased matter.
When responders entered the home, they immediately located the two deceased people.
Preliminary reports showed the men died from an overdose. But police are waiting on the official medical examiner’s report to confirm.
CPD said there were no indicators of other nefarious activity.

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating, after two people were found dead in a home on East 37th Street.
The sheriff’s office confirmed the deaths to News 12 Thursday evening.
Neighbors told us the victims were both men.
We don’t know yet how they died.
