HCSO Deputies Involved in Vehicle Pursuit

Hamilton County, TN – (WDEF-TV) – At approximately 7:30pm last night, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies attempted to pull over a stolen vehicle while on patrol on Lee Highway. The driver of the stolen vehicle failed to stop around the 9100 block of Lee Highway, leading deputies on a short vehicle pursuit which eventually ended near the 8900 block of Ooltewah Georgetown Road after road spikes were deployed. After running over the spike strips, the vehicle came to rest in a nearby driveway where deputies apprehended the driver, Jesse Mennis, without incident.

Mr. Mennis was taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail where he is awaiting booking and processing.
