HCSO investigating drowning of a female in Ooltewah

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A woman was found dead in a pool in Ooltewah, Tennessee.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to a report of a drowning at the 7800 block of Trout Lily Drive.

When deputies arrived, they discovered a female deceased in a pool.

HCSO is conducting an investigating on the incident.

The females body has been taken to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.

Sources tell us the female is Mekinzie Reed of Ooltewah.
