HCSO recovers stolen vehicle in Middle Valley, arrest made

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) recovered a stolen vehicle in Middle Valley while also arresting a wanted suspect.

HCSO received a hit from an Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) in regards to a stolen 2009 Ford Escape out of Dunlap, Tennessee.

The vehicle was located in the Middle Valley Road Thrasher Pike area.

According to HCSO, deputies were able to locate the vehicle in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Middle Valley Road.

Upon arrival, deputies noticed the vehicle was occupied by a male and female.

Both were detained without incident.

Deputies discovered the male, identified as Jason Michael Card, has outstanding warrants in Dunlap and Red Bank.

The female had no outstanding warrants and was later released.

It was later confirmed that the vehicle was stolen out of Dunlap.

Card was taken into custody for vehicle theft and then turned over to Red Bank Police for his outstanding warrant.
