HCSO’s reentry program hosts inmate job fair
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) reentry program hosted a job fair for inmates at the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center.
Local organizations and businesses came to provide inmates with resources and opportunities for employment for inmates who will be transitioning back into society soon.
Prior to the event, the HCSO reentry program held a class that assisted inmates in documenting their job skills, create resumes, and learn interview skills.
According to HCSO, 21 inmates participated in the job fair.
