Hello St. Elmo Festival showcases local small businesses

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – While corgis took over the streets, the Community Association of Historic St. Elmo gave residents another reason to celebrate with a chance to shop local and support small businesses.

The Hello, St. Elmo neighborhood street festival featured dozens of vendors offering food, drinks, and unique handmade items.

Live music added to the lively atmosphere, drawing crowds throughout the day.

Organizers say events like this highlight what makes the community special while encouraging people to explore all that St. Elmo has to offer.

Gabrielle Cipriano, a board member with the Community Association of Historic St. Elmo, said the festival is carefully curated to create a one-of-a-kind experience.

“We really try to show that off with the makers market by hand selecting the vendors. No two are alike, and we love having the opportunity to bring people into the area around the tap house. With music and the market, it creates a really fun environment for everyone,” Cipriano said.

Throughout the event, families and visitors browsed booths, enjoyed local food, and gathered to listen to live performances.

Organizers say the festival continues to grow each year, helping spotlight small businesses and strengthen community connections.

All in all, it was a busy day in St. Elmo, with events like the Corgi Parade and the street festival keeping the community engaged, active, and connected.
