Heritage Generals Sporting Mohawks For the Playoffs

Ringgold, GA-(WDEF) You’ve heard of ‘No-Shave November’.
But for the Heritage football team, it’s ‘Mohawk Moh-vember’.
Several of the players are going with the mo-hawks this month to celebrate the team getting in the playoffs.
For some reason, the coaches are not getting mohawks.
You have to wonder if that might change if the Generals keep winning.
Last Friday, Heritage notched the first playoff win in school history.
Said head coach E.K. Slaughter:”Been a season of firsts. First year we have beaten Pickens County. It’s the first year we have made the playoffs. It’s the first year we have made the playoffs. It’s the first year we have won a playoff game. It’s the first year. It’s the first time we have ever had a 5,000-yard passer at quarterback. There have been a lot of firsts for this year. It’s really just a testament for these kids.”
Heritage travels to Mary Persons on Friday.
