Heritage High School vs. Southeast Whitfield High School

Dalton, GA (WDEF) – Heritage and Southeast Whitfield both had a week off before facing off in their region match-up Friday evening.

The Generals were hoping to unleash their air assault, while the Raiders were hoping to counter with a tough running game.

The Generals and Raiders hit the field in this one both looking for a win.

It’s homecoming night for Southeast Whitfield with the queen leading the band.

Clint Petteys hands this ball off to Hood, who gets stuffed into the back field by a smothering Raider’s defense.

Petteys fakes this one and keeps it.

I almost lose him, but so does the defense on the way to this big run down to the 2 yard line.

They would punch it in 2 plays later.

They lead to 18 nothing.

Heritage looking to close the gap, and they have Faith who gives it to Devon Fields who gets bodied by Andy Weldon.

Raiders looking to get going.

They give it to Tyler Brown who get driven out of bounds and pushed for good measure by Hood.

Faith and the Raiders put up a prayer to Lucas Grant, but it falls short just like they did in this game losing 25 to 14.
