Heroin suspect dies in Grundy County jail

Rachel Rollins was arrested on Friday

ALTAMONT, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Sheriff of Grundy County says a female prisoner has died at the jail.

30 year old Rachel Rollins was arrested on Friday for the resale of heroin.

She was found in her cell around 7 AM on Monday.

Rollins was kept in a cell by herself.

Sheriff Shrum says it looks like she had dome kind of medical issue.

The TBI will conduct an investigation into her death.
