Hiker rescued from Signal Mountain trail after sustaining ankle injury
SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. (WDEF) — Just after first responders finished addressing the W Road accident, they got a call about a hiker injured on Mabbit Springs Trail.
Emergency services responded to 4-11 Glenway Avenue to rescue the hiker.
They set up a rope system while others hiked down to get the man.
He sustained an ankle injury and wasn’t able to get out of the woods.
They had to put him in a stokes basket and pull him out with a rope system.
