Holtzclaw hit & run suspects captured in Atlanta

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have arrested two more suspects in a deadly crash on Holtzclaw Avenue.

The driver, 26 year old Dwight Turner Jr. and passenger 21 year old Sara Ashlee Meredith were both arrested in Atlanta on Tuesday by U.S. Marshals.

On January 3rd, a pickup truck hit another vehicle killing two people.

All three people in the truck ran away on foot.

Police arrested the other passenger, Hailee Freedom Hicks on January 10th.

Turner will be charged with vehicular homicide and aggravated assault.

The two passengers face charges of Leaving the Scene and Failure to Render Aid.
