Home Invasion on Arlena Circle early Wednesday Morning

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating a reported home invasion overnight in the Highway 153 area.

The call came in from the 6000 block of Arlena Circle.

Officers found 41 year old Edward Greatheart suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

They say a suspect entered the home with a gun and demanded money from him.

When he refused, he says the robber hit him and then shot him.

Greatheart was treated at the scene and then taken to the hospital.
