HomeServe USA Adds 100 Jobs in Chattanooga
They started with about 50 people, expanded operations last year, and are looking to do the same this year.
That means adding another one hundred jobs.
Steven Bechard, with HomeServe USA, adds, "We’re very excited about it and we’re excited about what we’re going to be doing here in Chattanooga as well."
The Chattanooga facility is considered the call center operations for the emergency home repair service provider.
More calls, means more employees needed, but why expand in Chattanooga?
Bechard says, "It’s the people that we have here. They’re hard working, they have a desire to take care of customers and they continue to exceed expectations."
This office actually has a 97 percent customer service satisfaction rating.
They’re now looking for more people of the same caliber who are good at sales, claims, or leadership positions.
J. Ed. Marston, with the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, says, "This is a great story for us to tell, as the chamber, as we go out and try to recruit additional companies and explain why Chattanooga is a great place to do business."
Not only that, but the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce says the expansion will impact the community almost immediately.
Marston adds, "It’s more taxes for local schools, it’s organic tax growth, so that we’re increasing the tax revenue without raising taxes."
Good news at a time when quite a few other businesses are suffering.
HomeServe will be hosting a job fair Wednesday and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at their facility on Premier Drive.
They encourage you to apply online beforehand.
HomeServe says the expansion and staff changes should be completed by the end of this year.
