House fire damages living room

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Firefighters were called to Dowlen Road Saturday evening.

When firefighters arrived on scene, officials say light smoke was visible.

Chattanooga Fire says no one was home at the time so firefighters had to force their way in.

Battalion Chief Chris Warren says firefighters worked quickly and were able to contain the fire damage to the living room.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
