House fire in Highland Park

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Blue Shift responds to a Highland Park residential fire on Monday evening.
At 9:46 P.M., the Chattanooga Fire Department responded to a home on the 1500 block of E 14th Street. They found the back of the home engulfed in flames.
The firefighters conducted an attack from different sides and searched the residence at the same time. Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the fire.
Firefighters were able to knock the fire out quickly and ventilated the house before moving into overhaul.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
