House Fire on Orchard Knob Avenue

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga firefighters had to battle the elements along with flames at a home in Orchard Knob Wednesday morning.

The blaze broke out around 3 AM at 1212 N. Orchard Knob Avenue.

Flames were already through the roof when firefighters arrived.

The 69 year old woman who lives there says she woke to a popping sound coming from her bathroom.

She got out okay, but the home is a loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
