CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – It’s Color Chattanooga Pink Week in honor of MaryEllen Locher and House of Colour is decking out the city in pink to bring awareness to breast cancer.

House of Colour, a UK franchise, helps people fit into their authentic style using color theory and style analysis. The services dives into what colors suit a person best based on their individual features. Rebekah Latham with House of Colour gave examples on how different shades of pink can affect how people look.

The whole service is to help people look their best. Latham says, “I want to give them visibility and also a lifestyle hack so they know what looks good. They can shop what looks good, and they will feel good. So at the end of the day, it just gives you more confidence.”

This is the week to rock the color pink! Color Chattanooga Pink Week honors MaryEllen Locher who passed away from breast cancer in 2005. Local stores and boutiques are celebrating pink this week. The event runs from January 17 to 25, with the week ending in the Pink Gala to support the MaryEllen Locher Breast Cancer Foundation. House of Colour will be auctioning off a color analysis service in support of the event.
