How New Tech can get you closer to the big games

Verizon connects you to the game even if you don't have the home court advantage

CHATTANOOGA, TN –

With college basketballs biggest moments right around the corner, I had to bring in a star forward from Verizon.  Interesting fact of the day.  Did you know, that between 60 and 100 million brackets are filled out in this tournament every year? So, whether you’re watching at home, or you’re going to travel to the games, our new friend here is going to tell us all the cool things that she has that will help us take in all the action.

According to Verizon Tech Expert Winnie Wright, you can catch all the games with the latest in tech both at home or at the game.

Clear bag policy. Giant pain for everybody. You can’t take your bags in. What are you gonna do with your bag when you get there, but with the case mate phone cross body. Check this out, you can just carry your phone right on you,” says Wright. “So it’s student section approved, hands free, you can jump and cheer and not have to worry about where’s my phone, where did I put it? It’s got a very durable cross body chain so you don’t have to worry about any issues at the game. Then once the game is over you don’t want to wear it as a cross body anymore? You just unclip it here and you can take it with you wherever you go.  You can also remove this piece and it’s not attached to your phone. SO you can use it for any other device that you may have.”

To catch the buzzer beater photos, Wright says you need a new Samsung Galaxy S24 plus. “It is going to give you photos and videos that are always a slam dunk. So this phone has a feature called Night-Ography and what that means is that it’s able to shoot really well in dark arenas or there’s a lot of light changes in those environments. It can recognize and analyze a subject accurately. So that way it can provide a really clear picture no matter if someone is running for the hoop or falling down on the ground.”

For those not able to attend the games, you can use your Google home to keep track of your favorite dip recipe, see who’s coming in the door and simply say “Hey Google!” to get an update on the latest scores and highlights.
